Tea Plantation & Mangement Diploma Course
The College has introduced the Community College Scheme (Under UGC) in the year 2015-16 by starting a Diploma Course in Tea Plantation and Management. The educational qualification required for enrolment into the course is Higher Secondary pass in any stream or in any equivalent examination from any recognized Board or University (NSQF Level B passed).
➢ Details about admission into the course are notified through local dailies in the month of June. Admission schedules are also notified through the College notice board and College website www.jorhatkendriyamahavidyalaya.edu.in
➢ Admission forms issued by the College will have to be duly filled-up and submitted within the specified date notified in news papers, the College notice board and website.
➢ The admission form scan be downloaded from the College website www.jorhatkendriyamahavidyalaya.edu.in and the duly filled forms may be submitted with a demand draft of Rs. 150/- drawn in favour of Principal, Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya, Kenduguri, Jorhat-10 (Assam). Online submission of forms are also possible by the payment of Rs. 150/- through a demand draft drawn in favour of Principal, Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya, Kenduguri, Jorhat.
➢ Students must submit attested copies of mark sheets and certificates of the last examination passed
along with their applications. Original mark sheets, certificates etc. will have to be produced at the time of admission. For those opting for online submission, during the time of admission they must submit attested copies of mark sheets and certificates of the last examination passed and also produce the originals for verification.
➢ The names of selected students will be announced two days before admission and he or she will have to appear before a panel of selection committee for document verification where they will have to produce the relevant original documents specified in the application form.
➢ Selection will be made on the basis of merit. However, there is reservation of seats as per State Government rules (as shown above).
➢ Incomplete application forms will be treated as cancelled
